Working Principle
The working principle of jaw crusher: After the material enters into the crushing chamber (the space composed of fixed jaw plate and movable jaw plate), the electric motor drives the belt and belt pulley, and makes the movable jaw plate do cycle reciprocating motion through eccentric shaft.
When the movable jaw plate rises, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw becomes larger, which pushes the movable jaw plate closer to the fixed jaw plate, and the material is crushed or split to achieve the purpose of crushing;
When the movable jaw plate goes down, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw becomes smaller, and the movable jaw plate leaves the fixed jaw plate under the action of the tie rod and the spring, and the materials that have been crushed to a size smaller than the discharge opening are discharged from the lower mouth of the crushing chamber. The material which is located in the upper part of the crushing chamber and has not been crushed to a sufficiently small size then falls to the lower part of the crushing chamber and is crushed again by the action of the jaw plate.
With the continuous rotation of the motor, the crusher jaws move periodically, crushing and discharging the materials, thus achieving the purpose of continuous crushing.

FAQ
Q: How to choose a jaw crusher based on material hardness?
A: Softer materials (e.g., limestone) suit compact jaw crushers (PE Series), while hard rocks (e.g., granite) require heavy-duty models (HD German-type) for higher efficiency and longevity.
Q: How does material size affect jaw crusher selection?
A: For uneven/large-sized materials, choose crushers with wide inlets (CJ Series) or pre-screening to prevent blockage and optimize crushing performance.
Q: What are the key steps for selecting a jaw crusher?
A: Identify material type (e.g., granite, limestone), hardness (≤320MPa), capacity, and input/output size. Match budget with optimal models (PE/CJ/HD Series).
Q: How about your warranty?
A: Our warranty is 12 months. Normally, the general after-sale service may be as below.
1) The technical support is permanent.
2) The paid spares parts could be provided at any time.
