SOUTH SUDAN 200TPH ROCK GOLD ORE PROCESSING PLANT
Fangcheng Mining Equipment Company, a global manufacturing in mineral processing solutions, successfully designed and supplied a complete 200TPH gold ore processing plant for a client in South Sudan.
With a focus on gravity separation and efficient recovery, this plant was customized to handle coarse gold-bearing ore up to 500mm in size.
The goal was to maximize gold recovery through an eco-friendly and chemical-free process, suitable for remote mining environments in Africa.

Solutions & Process
SOLUTIONS & PROCESS
Fangcheng Mining Equipment Manufacturing Company, provided a turnkey solution tailored to the raw ore’s characteristics and field conditions in South Sudan. The complete production line was designed for high-efficiency recovery, low operational cost, and easy installation.

1.Crushing & Feeding System

The raw ore (max 500mm) was fed by a heavy-duty hopper equipped with a vibrating feeder and transported via belt conveyors to a jaw crusher,
reducing size for further processing.

2.Washing & Screening

To remove soil and clay, the crushed material passed through a trommel scrubber and log washer. Fine particles and slimes were separated by a vibrating screen, ensuring clean, properly sized material for gravity separation.

3.Gravity Separation

Cleaned ores were transferred to spiral chutes and shaking tables to recover free gold particles. This method is especially effective for coarse and medium-size gold grains in the range of 0.074–2mm, offering high recovery without chemicals.

4.Magnetic Separation

After gravity separation, tailings passed through a high-intensity magnetic separator to recover any iron-associated gold or remove magnetic gangue minerals, further purifying the gold concentrate.

5.Tailings Handling

The final tailings were safely discharged or directed to a tailings dewatering system. This design ensured minimal environmental impact, meeting local mining regulations.
