Working Principle
Three Disc Dry Magnetic Separator Working Principle
This separator uses three independently adjustable high-intensity magnetic discs (up to 18,000 Gauss) for gradient sorting. Material is evenly dispersed by a vibratory feeder and sequentially exposed to each disc's magnetic field: weakly magnetic particles attach to the first disc, moderately magnetic to the middle disc, and strongly magnetic to the final disc. Non-magnetics discharge directly, achieving precise 0.1-5mm particle separation without water – ideal for arid-region tungsten/titanium ore processing.
Advantages

High-Intensity Magnetic Separation: Triple independently adjustable discs (up to 18,000 Gauss), Precise sorting of 0.05-5mm weakly magnetic ores (W/Sn/REE), Increases concentrate grade by 15-25%, tailings recovery <5%.
Water-Free Dry Processing: 100% dry physical separation,Zero water consumption for arid regions,Saves 80% water treatment costs vs wet methods.
Smart Variable Frequency Control: PLC adjustable rotation speed (0-30rpm), Adapts to various particle sizes, 10t/h capacity per unit, 35% less energy consumption.

FAQ
Q: What minerals suit 3-disc dry magnetic separators best?
A: Ideal for weakly magnetic ores (W/Sn/Ta-Nb, 0.05-5mm), especially REE beneficiation in water-scarce areas.
Q: How to optimize 3-disc separator performance?
A: ①Adjust RPM(5-25) by particle size ②Set gradient field(8000-18000Gs) ③Keep feed layer<10mm.
Q: Advantages over single-disc models?
A: 30% better precision, produces 3-4 concentrates, 2x capacity, only 15% more power.
