Working Principle
Ore Washing: A diesel-powered water pump draws water from a river or external source, generating high-pressure water flow to break up and disperse compacted gold-bearing sand.
Grizzly Screening: A grizzly screen blocks large gravel, allowing only finer gold-bearing materials to pass into the sluice box.
Gravity Separation: As the slurry flows through the sluice box, heavier gold particles settle to the bottom due to their higher density, separating from lighter materials.
Gold Capture: A gold sluice or riffle trap at the bottom of the sluice captures fine gold particles, while tailings are discharged from the end.
Concentrate Collection: The gold sluice is periodically removed and rinsed to collect the captured gold concentrate.
